Greenvale Energy Ltd-field season commences with major new airborne survey
Greenvale Energy Ltd (ASX:GRV) has commenced a significant airborne survey across its uranium projects in the Northern Territory, marking the start of its field season. The survey, which covers four strategic uranium projects—Jindare, Henbury, Elkedra, and Tobermorey—aims to identify areas with potential sandstone-hosted and unconformity-style uranium mineralization. These projects are situated in geologically favorable regions with similarities to leading uranium producer.
The airborne survey is a key component of Greenvale’s exploration strategy, designed to detect radiometric anomalies and refine drill targets. The Henbury project, located on the edge of the Amadeus Basin, is of particular interest due to its proximity to known hydrocarbon basins. The survey results will support the company’s efforts to advance its uranium portfolio in alignment with the triple by 2050.
Greenvale’s exploration activities are complemented by its advanced uranium project in Queensland, the Oasis project, which has reported high-grade intercepts of 0.72%. The company’s uranium projects are part of a broader portfolio that includes the Alpha Torbanite project, which holds a 28 Mt inferred resource of torbanite, and the Millungera Basin geothermal project.
The airborne survey follows a recent successful fundraising effort, with Greenvale raising $856,000 through SPP, exceeding its initial target of $500,000. The funds will be allocated to advance uranium exploration and development activities, including follow-up drilling and resource delineation.
Greenvale Energy is managed by an experienced board and executive team, including Neil Biddle, the founding director of Pilbara Minerals, and Alex Cheeseman, seasoned resources executive. The company’s strategic focus on uranium, bitumen, and geothermal energy positions it to contribute to the global transition toward low-carbon energy solutions.
