Ethereum developers are preparing for the Fusaka upgrade on December 3.

According to a report by CoinDesk on November 30th, as reported by Mars Finance, Ethereum developers are preparing to launch the network's second upgrade for 2025 on the Ethereum mainnet on December 3rd (Wednesday). This upgrade, named Fusaka (a combination of Fulu and Osaka), will simultaneously upgrade both the consensus and execution layers of Ethereum. The goal of this upgrade is to improve Ethereum's ability to handle large-scale transaction throughput from various Layer 2 networks that use Ethereum as their base layer. Fusaka comprises 12 code changes, namely Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), designed to make the Layer 2 user experience faster and cheaper.
