Jaguar Land Rover lost billions of pounds in the final quarter of 2025 due to the hit on production caused by the cyber-attack. In a statement released this week ahead of its full results due to be published in February it said wholesale volumes had plummeted 43 percent to 59,200 in the final quarter with plants shut for business. Compared to the prior year, wholesale volumes for the third quarter were down in all markets comprising the UK which was down 0.9 percent, North America down 64.4 percent, Europe down 47.6 percent, China down 46.0 percent, MENA1 down 8.5 percent and Overseas down 50.4 percent.
