Digistar Corporation Bhd fixes issue price for private placement at 0.0315 RGT per share

Digistar Corporation Bhd has fixed the issue price for its private placement at 0.0315 ringgit (RGT) per share, as part of its efforts to raise up to RM9 million to fund its new pay-TV venture and reduce bank borrowings. The company plans to issue up to 169.99 million new shares, with 20% of the issued share capital—equivalent to 113.32 million shares—allocated to third-party investors. LWC Capital Sdn Bhd, an investment vehicle of Digistar’s managing director, will subscribe to 56.66 million shares, representing 10% of the issued share capital.

The proceeds will primarily support the expansion of Digistar’s pay-TV services, with RM8.6 million allocated for business development, including the purchase of android television boxes, content acquisition, marketing, and workforce hiring. An additional RM230,000 will be used to repay bank borrowings, and RM180,000 will cover placement expenses.

As of July 14, 2026, Digistar’s stock is trading at 0.040 MYR, with a 52-week range of 0.030 MYR to 0.065 MYR. The company’s financial performance remains challenging, with a net loss of RM3.45 million in the nine months ended June 30, 2024.
