Embark Studios’ Arc Raiders and The Finals were suffering earlier this week from what the studio has described as “extensive, coordinated” Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks. The attacks were said to be “ongoing” Jan. 27 while the studio battled to mitigate their impact on each game. It's unfortunate timing for Arc Raiders, given the DDoS attacks come hot on the heels of Arc Raiders’ Headwinds update, which added a solo vs. squads matchmaking option, a Bird City map condition, and much more. Arc Raiders is one of the biggest games in the world, having sold an incredible 12.4 million copies in just 10 weeks.
