According to Foresight News , Bio Protocol has announced a major upgrade to BioXP in Q2, changing how users earn rewards within the Bio ecosystem. The new BioXP system requires users to stake BIO to generate veBIO, which is then used to earn experience points (XP) through staking ecosystem tokens. Additionally, veBIO holders will automatically receive airdrops when new tokens are listed. The new mechanism includes three multipliers: a BIO staking multiplier, a level multiplier, and a new token multiplier, potentially achieving up to 10x returns. The initial launch sale for Q2 is about to begin, and BioXP held for more than 14 days will immediately expire.
