This is a submission for the AI Challenge for Cross-Platform Apps - WOW Factor

After finishing my first project for the Uno Platform Hot Design Challenge, the Instagram-style profile page, I thought the journey was over.

But something unexpected happened.

I actually enjoyed the process so much that I couldn’t stop.
The creative flow, the instant feedback, the smooth cross-platform experience… it pulled me right back in.

So when I went back to the challenge and I read more the second prompt, WOW Factor, it felt like an invitation I couldn’t ignore.

This time, instead of a mobile UI, I decided to build something bigger and more immersive:

👉🏻 A modern, clean, travel-agency landing page, entirely powered by Uno Platform.
👉🏻 Complete with full-width imagery, elegant typography, destination cards, animations… and even a little confetti celebration subscription section to make the experience feel more alive and welcoming.
👉🏻 Built from scratch, using mock data, UI animations, and visuals designed to immediately catch the eye.

And of course, my goal became very simple:

Make the judges say “WOW”… at least once.
(Hopefully more than once!) 😄

✈️ Why I Built a Travel Agency Home Screen

The WOW Factor prompt asked for:

✔ A visually engaging home screen
✔ A fun theme (like coffee shop… but any style welcome)
✔ Creative visuals, mock data, animations
✔ Smooth performance
✔ Something that instantly grabs attention

A travel agency landing page felt perfect.

It naturally allows:

  • bold hero sections
  • gradient overlays
  • beautiful destination cards
  • call-to-action buttons
  • smooth scrolling
  • space for animation (including my confetti effect 🎉)
  • strong emotional visuals

It is exactly the kind of theme that makes users feel something, which is essential for the “WOW Factor.”

💡 Design Vision

My goals for this landing page were:

✔ A hero section that feels alive

Large images, a layered layout, and a welcoming confetti animation after subscribing to grab the user’s attention.

✔ Smooth vertical scrolling

Travel websites rely heavily on feeling immersive, scrolling is part of the storytelling.

✔ Destination cards with mock data

Clean cards, rounded corners, subtle shadows, and responsive images.

✔ Subtle animations

Small-scale transitions and UI effects to create delight without slowing performance.

✔ Clean, structured XAML

Readable, modular, and easy to extend.

🔨 How I Built It With Uno Platform

I started with a fresh Uno Platform project and used:

🔷 Mock Data & Visual Assets

Destinations, hero photos, background images.

🔷 Grid & StackPanel layout composition

Which Uno handles beautifully across platforms.

🔷 Buttons & CTAs

Responsive and visually bold.

🔷 Animations

Including a lightweight confetti animation, small but impactful.

Just like in my previous challenge, Uno proved something once again:

Cross-platform UI doesn’t need to be painful, nor slow.
And when combined with creative design, it becomes genuinely enjoyable.

🧭 What I Learned From This Second Challenge

1️⃣ Creativity shines with the right tools

The theme combined perfectly with Uno’s layout system.

2️⃣ Animations don’t need to be complicated

Even a small confetti animation can add a huge amount of personality.

3️⃣ Uno makes visual design predictable across devices

One codebase, consistent results.

4️⃣ A good landing page is all about emotional flow

Spacing, visuals, colors, and motion guide the user naturally.

💙 Special Thanks to the Uno Platform Team

Thank you again to the Uno Platform team for launching this challenge and encouraging developers to explore creativity.

🎉 Final Thoughts

This second submission wasn’t planned, but creativity rarely waits for permission.

Building the Instagram page sparked something, and this travel-agency homepage let me explore even more visual ideas, animations, and layout patterns.

And now that it’s complete, all I can say is...
I truly hope this project makes the judges say “WOW”, even if just a little. 🤩
