The Paraguayan House of Representatives has requested the government to submit official information on domestic cryptocurrency mining activities.

According to Mars Finance, the Paraguayan House of Representatives passed two resolutions on December 4th, requiring government departments to submit official information on domestic cryptocurrency mining activities to enhance regulation and transparency. The Ministry of Industry and Commerce is required to disclose the number of individuals and companies currently registered and authorized to engage in virtual asset mining, and provide relevant data. The National Electricity Authority is required to publish information such as the number of power connections specifically approved for cryptocurrency mining, the responsible parties, and installation locations. Both agencies must respond within 15 days.
