Swift TV - five-year Swift TV subscription agreement with Compass Group for Chevron’s Wheatstone onshore facility
Swift TV Ltd (ASX:STV) has entered into a five-year subscription agreement with Compass Group to provide entertainment and technical support services at Chevron’s Wheatstone onshore facility in Western Australia. The agreement, part of a broader 12-month contract covering Chevron’s Gorgon Butler Park, Wheatstone Onshore, and Wheatstone Offshore sites, is valued at $2.4 million for the initial term. This contract marks a renewal and expansion of Swift’s long-standing relationship with Chevron, which has been a key customer since 2015.
The Wheatstone Project, operated by Chevron, is one of Australia’s largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) developments and plays a critical role in the country’s energy infrastructure. The onshore facility is located 12 km west of Onslow in the Pilbara region and includes two LNG trains with a combined capacity of 8.9 million tonnes per annum. The project, which achieved first LNG shipment in October 2017, is a joint venture involving Chevron, KUFPEC, Woodside Energy, and other partners.
Swift’s services under the agreement include 24/7 technical support and entertainment solutions tailored to the unique operational demands of the oil and gas sector, particularly for offshore locations. The company has previously demonstrated its ability to deliver customized solutions for major energy clients, including Shell and INPEX.
The contract is expected to generate ongoing operational expenditure (OPEX) revenue for Swift, with payments commencing in May 2025. The agreement underscores Chevron’s continued focus on optimizing vendor relationships and leveraging local and global service providers to support its operations, as noted in largest agreement catering.
