OPAP Announces Distribution of 2024 Remaining Dividend Amid Ongoing Business Combination with Allwyn

OPAP S.A. has confirmed the distribution of the remaining dividend for the 2024 financial year, following approval by its 25th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 29, 2025. The company approved a total gross dividend of €503.14 million for 2024, with an interim dividend of €216.26 million already paid on November 11, 2024. The remaining gross dividend amounts to €286.88 million, or €0.80 per share, prior to withholding tax. Shareholders will receive a net amount of €0.76 per share after a 5% withholding tax, in accordance with Greek tax regulations.

Eligible shareholders are those registered in the Dematerialized Security System (DSS) as of May 8, 2025 (record date), with shares trading ex-dividend from May 7, 2025. Payments will commence on May 14, 2025, through PIRAEUS BANK S.A., with distributions processed via shareholders’ operators in the DSS. Notably, the right to collect the remaining dividend expires five years from the end of the 2024 financial year (December 31, 2020), after which unclaimed amounts will revert to the Hellenic Republic under Greek civil law.

This dividend announcement follows OPAP's ongoing business combination with Allwyn, a U.S.-based lottery operator, which has progressed to a "landmark" stage as of January 2026. An amendment to the terms of the combination was also announced in 2025, though specific details remain undisclosed.
