Edenred to acquire Mobility House Solutions
Edenred, a global provider of flexible employee benefits, has announced plans to acquire The Mobility House, a leading smart charging solutions provider for electric vehicle (EV) fleets. The acquisition aims to expand Edenred’s offerings in the mobility and energy transition space, aligning with growing demand for sustainable transportation solutions. The Mobility House specializes in smart charging and energy management systems, including its ChargePilot® platform, which supports over 50,000 electric vehicles across 2,700+ charging depots globally.
The Mobility House’s technology includes automated load management and vehicle-grid integration capabilities, which help reduce infrastructure costs and optimize energy use for fleet operators. Edenred’s existing commuter benefits programs, which serve over 10 million employees, could be enhanced through this integration, potentially offering employers a more comprehensive suite of tools to support fleet electrification and employee mobility.
The transaction is expected to strengthen Edenred’s position in the EV infrastructure market, particularly as governments and corporations prioritize decarbonization goals. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
