Ravindra Energy Associate partners HPCL for battery swap infrastructure
Ravindra Energy Associates has entered into a strategic partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to develop battery swap infrastructure across India. The collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) by establishing a robust and scalable network of battery swapping stations.
Under the agreement, Ravindra Energy will leverage its expertise in energy infrastructure, while HPCL will utilize its extensive retail network and logistics capabilities to deploy the battery swap stations. The initiative is expected to support the government's push for cleaner transportation and reduce range anxiety among EV users.
The partnership aligns with India’s broader energy transition goals and the increasing demand for sustainable mobility solutions. Ravindra Energy and HPCL have not disclosed the financial terms of the agreement, but both parties emphasized the long-term strategic value of the collaboration.
This development is seen as a significant step in the EV ecosystem, potentially attracting further investment in battery technology and infrastructure.
