Renault India: June wholesale rise 55%

Renault India reported a significant 55% year-over-year increase in June wholesale sales, reflecting strong demand for its vehicle models in the domestic market. This growth follows a series of strategic product launches and enhancements, including the introduction of the new Renault Duster, which has been well-received since nationwide dispatch began in April 2026. The Duster, which recently achieved an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 18.45 km/l for its TCE Turbo 160 variant, has contributed to the company’s momentum in the SUV segment.

The company’s performance in June aligns with its broader growth trajectory, as Renault India has consistently posted double-digit sales growth since the beginning of 2026. In April 2026 alone, sales doubled to 5,413 units, and March sales rose 77% year-over-year. These figures indicate a sustained recovery and market confidence in Renault’s product lineup.

Renault’s recent investments in India, including the launch of the Futuready India initiative, have further strengthened its position in the competitive automotive landscape. With continued product innovation and a focus on customer-centric strategies, Renault India appears well-positioned to maintain its upward trend in the near term.
