Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has underscored the importance of dialogue and de-escalation, particularly in the context of U.S.-Iran relations. During recent engagements, Dar highlighted Pakistan’s role as a facilitator of peace and reiterated extend the current ceasefire and pursue diplomatic solutions.

Recent interactions with U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker reaffirmed Washington’s appreciation for Pakistan’s efforts to promote regional peace and stability. The U.S. delegation acknowledged Pakistan’s constructive role in facilitating dialogue, a sentiment echoed by several international counterparts, including Saudi Arabia, China, and Austria, with whom Dar held discussions on regional developments and bilateral cooperation.

Despite concerns raised by some U.S. lawmakers and media outlets regarding the presence of Iranian aircraft in Pakistan, the Foreign Ministry has clarified that bear no military significance.
