Alfen NV - Alfen will serve as preferred EV charging hardware partner for Tecs across 5 key European markets

Alfen NV has entered into a strategic partnership with Tecs, a European infrastructure provider, to serve as the preferred supplier of electric vehicle (EV) charging hardware across five key European markets. Under the agreement, Alfen will provide a range of AC and DC charging solutions tailored to meet Tecs’ operational and technical requirements. The collaboration aligns with the growing demand for public EV charging infrastructure across Europe, where governments are accelerating the transition to low-emission transportation to meet climate neutrality goals by 2050.

The partnership builds on Alfen’s extensive experience in the EV charging sector, which spans over 15 years and includes 592,000 EV charge points across Europe as of August 2023. Alfen’s product portfolio includes advanced models such as the Eve Double PG-line and Twin 5, which feature smart functionalities like Plug&Charge, ISO 15118 communication, and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) readiness. These innovations support the integration of EVs into the broader energy system and enhance grid efficiency.

Tecs, which operates in multiple European countries, aims to expand its public charging network to support the increasing adoption of EVs. Alfen’s role as a preferred supplier underscores its position as a leading EV charging equipment manufacturer in Europe, with a strong track record of delivering scalable and interoperable solutions.
