Poll: Federal Reserve Chairman Powell becomes the "most popular senior official"

According to Mars Finance, a recent Gallup poll released on December 24th shows that Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell is the most popular among more than a dozen U.S. leaders. The poll indicates that over 40% of respondents approve of Powell's performance, including 46% of Democrats, 34% of Republicans, and 49% of independents. Despite ongoing conflicts with Powell during Trump's first year back in the White House, Powell's approval rating remains relatively high. Earlier this year, Trump repeatedly criticized Powell for not cutting interest rates earlier or on a larger scale. (The Hill)
