X is developing a smart asset tagging feature that can display real-time prices and contract information of associated assets.

Odaily Odaily reports that Nikita Bier, X's product lead and Solana advisor, stated that X is the best source for financial news and is currently developing Smart Cashtags. This feature allows users to specify a particular asset or smart contract when posting market updates on X. Users can click on these tags in their timeline to view the real-time price of the relevant asset and all information mentioning that asset. The feature is planned to be continuously iterated and feedback collected before its public release next month. Nikita Bier joined X as product lead in mid-2025.
