On January 15th, GeckoTerminal released data showing that 53.2% of cryptocurrencies have already gone to zero, with the vast majority of these occurring in 2025. Approximately 11.6 million tokens are projected to go to zero by 2025, representing 86.3% of all tokens that went to zero between 2021 and 2025. Of these, 7.7 million tokens went to zero in the fourth quarter of 2025.
