A major cyber incident has surfaced involving Tokyo FM Broadcasting Co., LTD., one of the most prominent radio stations in Japan. On Jan. 1, 2026, a person or group using the alias “victim” announced that they had broken into the company’s private computer systems. The person behind the attack claims to have made off with over 3 million individual records. The stolen files allegedly include people’s full names, birthdays, email addresses, IP addresses, user agents which show what kind of phone or computer a person was using, and login IDs used for the company’s internal systems and information about people’s jobs.
