Capacit’e Infraprojects Secures INR2.2B Contract for Mumbai Real Estate Development

Mumbai-based construction firm Capacit’e Infraprojects has been awarded a civil core and shell works contract valued at INR2.2 billion (Rs220 crore) by TenX Realty, a step-down subsidiary of Raymond Limited. The project, titled The Address by GS – Bandra Project, involves constructing two basements, a ground-plus-23-floor structure, and non-tower areas in Bandra East, Mumbai according to reports. The company announced receiving a Letter of Intent for the deal on April 15, 2024.

The project scope includes infrastructure development for residential and commercial use, aligning with Capacit’e’s expertise in high-rise buildings, townships, and institutional facilities. Rahul Katyal, Managing Director of Capacit’e Infraprojects, emphasized the significance of repeat orders from Raymond’s realty division, highlighting the firm’s “strong track record of project delivery” and commitment to meeting client expectations.

Capacit’e Infraprojects operates across sectors including residential, commercial, and industrial construction, with a focus on end-to-end project execution. The Bandra East project is positioned to bolster the company’s portfolio, particularly in Mumbai’s competitive real estate market as industry reports indicate.

In related industry developments, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) secured a major residential contract from Brigade Group in Hyderabad and Chennai, while Adani Properties was selected for a Rs360 billion housing redevelopment in Mumbai’s Goregaon West suburb according to financial news. These projects underscore ongoing investment in India’s construction and real estate sectors.

The Bandra East project, located near the Western Express Highway, is expected to contribute to Mumbai’s urban infrastructure. Capacit’e Infraprojects has not disclosed specific timelines for completion.
