Alfen NV - signs multi-year partnership agreement with TotalEnergies Charging Services

Alfen NV has entered into a multi-year partnership agreement with TotalEnergies Charging Services, marking a strategic collaboration to support the expansion of high-power electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across Europe. The agreement aligns with both companies’ broader goals to accelerate the energy transition and meet the growing demand for sustainable mobility solutions.

Under the terms of the partnership, Alfen will supply its advanced energy storage and EV charging technologies to support TotalEnergies’ network development. This collaboration follows TotalEnergies’ recent expansion in the EV charging sector, including the acquisition of 200 fast and ultra-fast charging sites in Spain and the formation of a joint venture with SSE to deploy 3,000 high-power charge points in the UK and Ireland. TotalEnergies aims to operate 1,000 high-power charging sites across Europe by 2028.

Alfen, a leader in energy storage and smart grid solutions, has a proven track record in delivering scalable and modular energy systems. The company has secured long-term supply agreements with key partners, including CATL, to ensure stable battery supply for its energy storage systems. Alfen’s solutions are already deployed in over 30 countries and include both stationary and mobile energy storage systems tailored for diverse applications.

The partnership with TotalEnergies Charging Services is expected to enhance Alfen’s market presence in Europe and support TotalEnergies’ ambitions to become a leading provider of high-power EV charging services. The collaboration underscores the increasing importance of integrated energy solutions in the transition to a low-carbon transportation system.
