Sui: The full build of Sui StackStack will be completed in 2026, with a series of updates planned.

According to Foresight News , Adeniyi Abiodun, co-founder of Mysten Labs, tweeted that Sui will complete its evolution from L1 to a unified developer platform, namely the end-to-end decentralized development stack S2 (Sui StackStack), in 2026. He views the features released in the past few years as pieces of the puzzle laying the groundwork for the convergence in 2026, unifying them into a single stack.

Updates to be released in 2026 include: Privacy-level transaction privileges by default for the protocol; USDsui as the pegged stablecoin for the Sui economy, and Slush as the consumer-facing gateway, with stablecoin transfers on the Sui network becoming completely free (gas-free) by 2026; DeepBook launching margin trading functionality and an upcoming referral/revenue-sharing model; launching the DeFi Moonshot Project (the author's wording is to make TradeFi as obsolete as a fax machine); scaling Bitcoin Finance on Sui; securing a phenomenal collaboration with a major studio through Parasol, hinting at a major official announcement in 2026; and Agentic Web providing platform optimization for machine-based on-chain transactions.
