The metaverse game ChronoForge has announced that it will cease operations on December 30th.

According to Mars Finance, the metaverse game ChronoForge announced on the X platform that it will cease operations on December 30th, citing "numerous obstacles," including a shortage of funds. This forced the founders to personally fund development since July and lay off 80% of the staff. ChronoForge is an NFT adventure project offering 7,500 unique playable characters and microgames. Developed by Minted Loot Studios, ChronoForge's tokens and ecosystem were overseen by its affiliated entity, the Rift Foundation. The project became active in 2022 when it launched its first NFT collection and began early community building.
