Koch AG & Energy Solutions and OCP have announced plans to expand their long-standing partnership through the formation of a new joint venture, aimed at enhancing efficiency and sustainability in the production and distribution of agricultural nutrients. The collaboration builds on a decade of cooperation between the two companies, which have previously worked together on projects focused on optimizing fertilizer supply chains and reducing environmental impact.

The new joint venture will leverage Koch AG & Energy Solutions’ expertise in energy and logistics, combined with OCP’s global leadership in phosphate production. Initial projects will focus on the development of advanced nutrient solutions tailored to specific regional agricultural needs, with an emphasis on improving crop yields while minimizing environmental footprints.

Both companies have emphasized that the partnership aligns with their strategic goals of fostering innovation and sustainability in the agriculture sector. No financial terms were disclosed, but the venture is expected to begin operations in early 2027.
