Netflix shares trailer and release date Happy Ending

Amsterdam, 25 July 2023 - Netflix unveils the official trailer and release date for Happy Ending, a funny and vulnerable story about a couple whose relationship is tested after a threesome. The film features a talented cast, including Gaite Jansen, Martijn Lakemeier, Joy Delima, Claire Bender, Sinem Kavus, and Sidar Toksöz. Happy Ending is the winning script by director Joosje Duk, submitted for the Netflix New Voices competition in 2021. Happy Ending is produced by Topkapi Films and will be available worldwide on Netflix starting September 1, 2023.

About Happy Ending Luna (Gaite Jansen) and Mink (Martijn Lakemeier) are a symbiotic couple celebrating their one-year anniversary together. Mink is unaware that Luna has been faking her orgasms since the beginning of their relationship, and Luna has kept this secret for so long that she doesn't dare to bring it up with him. When her best friends encourage Luna to try new things in the bedroom with Mink, Luna proposes an exciting idea to him: a threesome. The following evening with climate activist Eve (Joy Delima) turns Luna's life upside down.
