Timah Tbk - Co & its labor union have officially signed 2026-2028 collective labor agreement

PT Timah Tbk and its labor union have officially signed a new Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) covering the period 2026–2028, following a series of negotiations that spanned nearly a year. The agreement was reached during the fourth round of discussions held in Jakarta on May 9, 2026. The process, which began in April 2025, involved multiple rounds of dialogue between management and union representatives, with the final agreement reflecting a shared commitment to both employee welfare and company sustainability.

The CLA negotiations were led by PT Timah’s Director of Human Resources, Ratih Mayasari, and the labor union’s negotiation team, chaired by Riki Febriansyah. Key areas of focus included improving employee benefits while ensuring the long-term viability of the company. Both parties emphasized the importance of maintaining a balanced approach that supports productivity and industrial harmony.

Ratih Mayasari highlighted that the agreement symbolizes the value of open communication and mutual understanding in fostering healthy industrial relations. She noted that the CLA should serve as a practical framework for collaboration between management and employees, reinforcing the idea that company sustainability and employee welfare are interdependent.

The labor union also expressed appreciation for the negotiation process, acknowledging that while not all proposals were fully accommodated, the final agreement represents progress and a shared vision for the future. The CLA is expected to strengthen PT Timah’s internal cohesion and provide a stable foundation for navigating future business challenges.
