Solana co-founder: Meme token drives new user engagement; mainnet Beta tag will be removed after dual-client implementation.

Foresight News' on-site report, Solana co-founders Raj Gokal and Anatoly Yakovenko stated at the Solana Breakpoint conference that the Meme token has become a significant driving force for users to enter the crypto world, helping them overcome technical hurdles such as private key management, and subsequently expanding to a wider range of on-chain activities.

Regarding technical progress, CEO Anatoly stated that as Firecanver's full client rollout enters its final audit phase, Solana will officially remove the Beta label once the network has multiple independent clients and can reach consensus on effective state transitions. The long-standing "Mainnet Beta" label on the Solana mainnet represented an engineering and risky state, meaning the network still needed iteration. The key to removing this label is for the network to have at least two independent protocol implementations (clients) to eliminate the risk of a single point of failure.

In addition, Raj emphasized that on-chain revenue is the core measure of ecosystem value, and most of the 20 startups that recently achieved $100 million in revenue are Solana ecosystem projects.
