A Reuters poll of 100 economists showed that 58 expect the Federal Reserve to keep the federal funds rate between 3.50% and 3.75% in Q1.

According to a Odaily poll, 58 out of 100 economists surveyed expect the Federal Reserve to keep the federal funds rate between 3.50% and 3.75% in the first quarter of 2026 (a majority of respondents in a December survey expected at least one rate cut). Of the 100 economists surveyed, 55 believe the Fed will resume rate cuts in June or later. (Jinshi)
