Citibank fixes yen at 160.30/dollar, 0.07 stronger

Citibank has adjusted its exchange rate for Japanese yen, fixing it at 160.30 yen per U.S. dollar, a 0.07 increase from the previous rate. This change reflects the bank’s ongoing efforts to align its currency exchange rates with current market conditions. The updated rate is part of Citibank’s broader foreign currency exchange services, which provide clients with access to competitive rates for over 50 currencies.

For Citigold and Citi Priority account holders, the adjustment is particularly relevant, as these clients benefit from real-time access to updated exchange rates through Citibank Online, which reflects market fluctuations on a 24-hour basis during business days. The new rate will apply to transactions processed through Citibank’s online platform, ATMs, and other currency exchange services, including the World Wallet® program, which offers next-business-day delivery of foreign currency to customers.

Clients are advised to check the latest exchange rates via Citibank Online or through the 24-hour Exchange Rate Hotline at 1-800-756-7050, option #1, before initiating any currency conversions. The change underscores the importance of monitoring exchange rate movements for individuals and businesses engaged in international transactions.
