Trump's approval ratings have plummeted to a low point, fueled by discontent over the cost of living and the Epstein case.

According to a Reuters/Ipsos Odaily, Donald Trump's approval rating has fallen to 38%, his lowest level since returning to the White House, as Americans express dissatisfaction with his handling of the cost of living and the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. The four-day poll, which concluded Monday, comes as Trump's control of the Republican Party also shows signs of weakening. At the start of his second term, 47% of Americans approved of Trump. The nine-point drop since January brings his overall approval rating close to its lowest point during his first term, and also close to the lowest level achieved by his Democratic predecessor, Joe Biden. Biden's approval rating once fell as low as 35%, while Trump's approval rating fell to 33% during his first term. Only 26% of Americans say Trump has done a good job managing the cost of living, down from 29% earlier this month.
