Earth to end distribution, sales agreement with Haleon Japan
Futura Medical PLC has announced the termination of its US distribution agreement with Haleon, marking a strategic shift in its commercial approach for the Eroxon brand. The company has entered into a new partnership with Market Performance Group (MPG), an omnichannel commerce agency, to handle the distribution and promotion of Eroxon in the US market. The transition is set to begin on September 1, 2026, following the completion of a Transitional Services Agreement with Haleon.
Under the terms of the termination agreement, Futura received a $1.9 million early termination fee, which, combined with existing reserves, is expected to fund operations until October 2026. The termination allows Futura to regain full US commercial rights, including all marketing assets and domain names previously developed by Haleon.
The new arrangement with MPG provides a more favorable commercial structure for Futura, as the company will retain control over advertising and manufacturing while generating revenue through sales commissions from MPG. This shift reflects a broader strategic move toward greater commercial involvement in Eroxon in the US market.
