Spectracure AB (publ) - announces rights issue of up to 1.14 bln units for SEK 34.2 mln

SpectraCure AB (publ) (Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market: SPEC) has announced a rights issue aimed at raising up to SEK 34.2 million through the issuance of approximately 1.14 billion units. Each unit consists of one share and one share warrant of a specified series. The rights issue is designed to support its ongoing clinical development and regulatory initiatives.

The subscription period for the rights issue has been postponed, with the new timeframe set between June 5 and June 23, 2020. All other terms remain unchanged. The company has also secured a top guarantee for the issue, ensuring full subscription even if existing shareholders do not exercise their rights.

Following the completion of the rights issue, SpectraCure’s share capital is expected to increase significantly. The company’s CEO, Masoud Khayyami, expressed satisfaction with the strong support from both existing and new shareholders, noting that the proceeds will be used to advance the company’s clinical trials and regulatory applications.

Trading of the newly issued units will occur on Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market once the issue is officially registered with the Swedish Companies Registration Office, expected around July 10, 2020.
